I am inherently organised and thrive on having a well-defined plan – a fact my friends can attest to! By blending my natural inclination for structured processes with my strong interpersonal skills, I excel at guiding campaign project teams to success. As a leader, I foster collaboration, accountability, and honesty. Using project plans to keep things on track, I see meetings as opportunities for sharing updates, connecting with team members, and finding solutions to roadblocks. Although comfortable in a project management role, I lead by example and don’t shy away from helping with campaign delivery when needed.
As the project manager for the City of Perth's Christmas event, I led a dynamic team of 20+ individuals from various departments (including communications, digital, graphic design, events, city planning). In 2019, we faced challenges including the late onboarding of our creative and media partners, a sudden $1.4 million budget increase and a new requirement to deliver an additional campaign for the New Year celebrations. Managing project milestones, fostering communication and maintaining team morale, I played a pivotal role in navigating the added stress and workload. Through the successful alignment of the project team, we delivered two distinct yet complementary campaigns over three months, resulting in a 4% increase in awareness and a 24% boost in visitation compared to the previous year.
